An article on Dutch Jewish country houses has been published in Jewish Social Studies by affiliated researcher Dr Sietske van der Veen (University of Amsterdam).

Jewish Social Studies is the premier journal in the field. The article demonstrates how, in a country where Jewish landownership was already visible before the modern period, Jews, although a minority, were an integral part of the country house landscape. Sietske began her research at Oxford with the JCH team as a visiting graduate student.

'"I Never Lived More Beautifully": The Country Houses of the Jewish Dutch Elite, 1870-1940'.
