WORKSHOP: Jewish Dealers and the European Art Market c.1850-1930

This workshop, held in partnership with the Gilbert Collection at the V&A, and supported by the National Trust, will examine the social and commercial connections of Jewish dealers across Europe, the hostility they encountered, and their role in the development of the global art market. This, the second part of the workshop, will compromise four academic panels preceded by a programme of public events, which are hosted by London Art Week and open to all.

The full programme can be seen here. The panel sessions are open to a limited number of invited participants only. For more information, please email  briony.truscott@history.ox.ac.uk.
