This interactive training day focused on how we can contextualize and interpret the Holocaust histories of Jewish country houses and empower National Trust colleagues, both staff and volunteers, to engage sensitively with Holocaust experiences connected to Trust sites.

It was convened by Jaclyn Granick and the Jewish Country Houses project with organisational support from Nicola Froggatt, Abigail Green, Hannah Kershaw, Olivia Oakley, Marcus Roberts, and Briony Truscott.

This event received assistance from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany, is sponsored by the Foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future”, and is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Finance. We were also very grateful to the National Trust and the Wiener Holocaust Library.
