Professor Abigail Green

Abigail Green is Professor of Modern European History at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Brasenose College.

She is particularly interested in the role of  Jewish country houses as sites of liberal politics, in reconceptualising the class status of the “Jewish aristocracy”, and in the place of Jewish history within European heritage cultures. She has led the Jewish Country Houses project since its inception.
