After a Bachelor’s degree in Art History at the University of Milan, Alice S. Legé enrolled in a Museology and Conservation Master’s program at the École du Louvre. In Paris, she carried out internships at CNRS and at the Louvre Museum, working on the well-known collector Gustave Dreyfus (1837-1914). Her first monograph concerned his biography and his social networks (Officina Libraria, 2019). Passionate about historiography, Renaissance art, architecture and numismatics, she obtained her Ph.D. on June 2020, with a thesis on the history, the residences and the collections of the Cahen d’Anvers family in France and Italy (supervisors Ph. Sénéchal, Univ. Amiens / G. Agosti, Univ. Milan).
